Today, Megann Shepard will be buried. It is a bitter sweet day. It is bitter for us who no longer have her here with us, but it is so sweet to know that she is not suffering anymore. Her service was absolutely perfect today. It was a celebration of a life that was one of the bravest I've ever known. Even through her cancer, she was able to trust that God knew the plan in her life. She was an inspiration to me and everyone who knew her. God bless you, Megann. I know you are meeting so many people already in heaven!!

I agree. The service was great! You and I must have had this on our hearts because I talked about her service on mine too. She was so brave and amazing the entire time.
I am so sorry about your friend. From what I have read and what you have said about her she does seem like a very brave and strong person. You are very lucky to have known a person with such unique qualities. If you need anything I am just a phone call away.
Love ya
Les:)
So sorry, Tam. I know she was a good friend for you and you'll miss her.
I have been thinking of you, Megann's family, and the rest of her friends all week. You have done an amazing job of honoring a sweet friend....it makes me wish I had known her. We will continue to pray for all of you.
It was a wonderful service, so fitting for her. And those pictures of her from her childhood were just precious!
Thanks again for all you did with the blog. I know the blog spared her and Jon many questions that she just didn't want/need to answer over and over again. It gave people from all over a chance to let her know they were praying, too!
I agree with See_Dub. Thank you for doing the blog. I know it was a huge responsibility and very appreciated by all.
